Flying Vipers – Nervous Breakdub 7

Flying Vipers’s heavy dub-style cover of Black Flag’s 1978 debut EP “Nervous Breakdown” is now on 7″ vinyl. Originally released digitally on January 31, 2019, the band excels in reinterpretating punk music in a dub style. All 4 songs from Black Flag’s debut EP mashed into one post-punky dub fit to karaoke-scream and pogo along to – “Nervous Breakdown”, “Fix Me”, “I’ve Had It” and “Wasted” – originally written by Greg Ginn and Keith Morris.

In April 2020 the band revisted the EP at the start of the pandemic – the “Nervous Breakdub (Pandemic Version)” appears on the flip. It’s a truly heavy reworking for the heaviest of times. Fuzzed out bass and drums plus a squawking Odyssey synthesizer brings the original tribute into a stranger dimension.
