The Reseters ‎– Give Me A Blue Beat LP (Milky Translucent vinyl)

THE RESETERS are the one and only Boss Early Reggae band in South Korea, formed in 2018. They band plays early Reggae songs with that late 60’s sound influenced by Toots and The Maytals, Harry J All Stars, Dave and Ansel Collins, The Melodians, and modern acts like THE AGGROLITES or BOSS CAPONE. Of course they are also influenced by British Ska bands of the 2-Tone era!

The Reseters consists of Kim Jang Hyup (Vocal & Guitar), Claire J (Organ & Harmony), Akhee Ahn (Bass & Harmony), Jo Seong Hyun AKA Nobaksalman (Drums) and Kim Byeong Hu (Guitar).  They’ve released two singles, one EP and the debut full-length album “Give Me A Blue Beat”, now available on blue vinyl released by Jump Up Records!

The Reseters mostly play at the venues located in the Hongdae area with other Reggae artists, but in 2023 they performed at Club Zone-B in Tokyo with Japanese legends Rollings, The Redemption and The 69 Yobsters. On March 1st of this year, The Reseters released the split single “Between Major and Minor” with Indonesian Boss Reggae band Badmintones. The Reseters plan to release three singles in 2024 -so you better stay alert for the New Reggae Sound of The Reseters!
