Sagarroi – Topa Iñigo! LP

Kasba Music closes its 20th anniversary vinyl row with, most the most emotional record of the collection, a wonderful tribute to Iñigo Muguruza that has been released in the month in which Iñigo would have turned 60. This compilation album by Sagarroi (2000-2009), one of Iñigo Muguruza’s multiple projects is the son of that musical career in which hardcore, rock, ska, punk, reggae, cumbia, singer-songwriter songs, ballads, abrasion and tenderness, joy and meditation coexist on the frontiers of a very wide world looked at with respect and curiosity by those who know that being born here or there is the result of chance, although this does not mean, in his case, forgetting the pride of being from a small place. Of course, taking into account the personality of Iñigo, of whom his elder brother said at his farewell that he had the enormous heart of an elephant, this compilation, a journey through Sagarroi’s music, has in its songs and origins a lot of concentrated emotion, never voiced.
